Develop a custom bumper cover or styling detail around your vehicle, your reference and your preferred finish. PRIMUS 3D assesses one-off bumper designs, replica styling, lips, splitters and side skirts from our Durban workshop.
Built around the application. Not just the printer.
PRIMUS 3D combines design thinking, material selection, additive manufacturing and finishing. The result is a considered part or product made for its intended purpose—not an unfinished print that still needs to be resolved.
01
Start with the vehicle and the shape
Send the make, exact model, year and photos of the existing bumper from the front, sides and mounting areas. Tell us whether you want to recreate an unavailable outer cover, adapt a styling reference or develop a new look. Vehicle access or a suitable original may be needed to capture the curves and attachment points.

02
Resolve the construction before manufacture
A large cover can require multiple sections, joining, reinforcement and a planned finishing process. We assess the part size, mounting geometry, heat exposure and material before quoting. A small fitment section can check the critical interfaces before the larger build proceeds.
Section and joint planning
Mounting and clearance review
Fitment prototype where required
03
Agree the final surface and delivery
Choose whether the quotation should cover manufacture only, assembly, surface preparation or a finished appearance. Colour, texture and installation arrangements are confirmed against the brief. A bumper cover project concerns the outer styling shell; any original crash beam, impact absorber, sensors and associated systems need a separate fitment assessment.

Typical applications
Practical possibilities. Purpose-led results.
Every project is assessed individually. Geometry, finish, operating environment, quantity and material requirements guide the manufacturing route.

Frequently asked
Before we begin.
Can you recreate a discontinued bumper?+
We can assess the outer cover from an original, measurements and clear photographs. Missing hidden geometry or complex curves may require the vehicle or a physical sample before we can confirm a suitable design.
Can I send a picture of a bumper I like?+
Yes. Include several angles and your vehicle details. A reference helps define the style, while the actual mounting and clearances must be designed around your vehicle.
Will the bumper be printed in one piece?+
The construction depends on size and geometry. Large covers may be made in sections with planned joints and finishing; that approach is explained in the quotation.
Does the quote include painting and fitting?+
Only the work listed in the agreed quotation is included. Tell us whether you need print-only parts, assembly, surface preparation or a finished appearance, and whether vehicle fitting needs to be arranged.
Start with what you have
A sketch, sample or idea is enough to begin.
Send us your requirements, measurements, reference photos, drawings or 3D files. We will help define the most practical route forward.
